The Riedell 495 boots feature the best quality leather and you will notice this immediately when putting them on your feet. They fit like a glove and will shape around your feet over time (and stay like this!). The best leather and a heatmoldable counter ensure a customized and comfortable fit. The interior liner is full grain Chinook leather and the shearling tongue adds cushion and helps prevent lace bite.This 495 boot has a hand rolled ankle collar prevent pressure points.

The unique ankle lock systemsecures your heel in the boot and the laces run all the way down to the toes for a perfect fit. The outsole is full grain leather, and is hand stitched and cemented. These are boots made to last.

PowerDyne Reactor Neo Plates
This setup comes with the Reactor Neo, which is made of strong aluminium and shares many design elements with its big brother, the Reactor Pro, at a fraction of the cost. The 10 degree kingpin angle offers explosive power - providing superior push and acceleration at the end of every stride - while the high-rebound, urethane cushions make the Reactor Neo responsive, agile and stable. The kingpin features click-action adjustment for precise customization.

Sizing
The 495 is completely made out of leather, also the lining/inside. This means the boots will not stretch, but form around your foot.
We offer 2 different widths of boots to make sure you can get your favourite skate in a good fit. The D/B is the standard wider version, and will be loved by skaters with squared off toes. If you have slim/narrow feet, you will feel best in the B/AA version.
