I bought a pair of Luna skates after 6 years of skating in a high quality, flat roller derby boot. I've recently started skating ramps due to derby being cancelled in the pandemic. I wanted to try a heeled boot for better stability on ramps but I didn't want to spend a fortune in case I didn't get on with a heel. For me the Luna was a great price point, and a lot of skate for the money. The boot is leather, and is softening to my foot over time, and the aluminium plate with allen key fitting means your toe stops stay put -this is a feature you don't normally see in a skate at this price. I'm glad I took the plunge - whilst I'd love some Moxis, Luna have got everything right at a great price here. Easy to upgrade wheels, toe stops, fit sliders etc, or just roll as they come fresh out of the box!
