Low emission zone Ghent
Parking ‘Gent Zuid’ is within walking distance of the shop and accessible to cars that are not admitted to Gent's low-emission zone. You don't have to register anything to access this car park either. It is right on the edge of the zone.
YOU NEED TO REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE ONCE BEFORE ENTERING THE LOW EMISSION ZONE IN GHENT !!
To improve air quality, Ghent’s inner city (the area within the ring road, including the location of Sucker Punch Skate Shop) will become a low-emission zone on 1 January 2020. Only vehicles that meet the conditions for admission will be allowed into this zone. Avoid being fined and always check your vehicle before coming to Ghent. Sucker Punch Skate Shop lies in the city center and in that low-emission zone. → Check if your car is allowed to drive up to our shop and the streets around us. |
When your vehicle is not allowed to enter, you can get a temporary permit to enter the city center and drive up to our shop. For some cars it is free, for other cards you might have purchase a day pass, and you can always use other forms of transport or use a park+ride parking just outside the city.
